'94 k1500 blazer 5.7...tilt steering: seems like steering sticks to one spot. cruising down the road it sticks right on centerline. grab the wheel and give it a jerk down and it get's better for a short period, give it a hard shot upward and it sticks. I was thinking bearings: upper and lower....."BUT" I was just checking it again, engine off, and it felt like a scraping right under the steering wheel itself. Anyone ever have this problem?

Re: tilt steering sticks
well an up-date; Pulled the wheel and found a black plate with two torx screws in the upper left. didn't have a long enough torx driver to get to them but I will thursday. Any way, beat down the lower right side of plate. it looks like it was rubbing the wheel underneath. went for a ride and it was smooth. I'll tear it apart again to check it better.
