no sound coming from the stereo???

guess what...i found out what the problem is...it may work for some and for all you that it doesnt work for..i couldnt help you

but i figured out what was wrong with mine...if you take the deck out and cut some of the wires you may be able to find out which set it causing the no sound problem..for mine it was a new set of JBL components that disconnected from the crossover box and apperently for the stock deck on 2000+cavs..theres a safety feature that if the power input and output are not normal the system shuts off all speakers to prevent damage to the deck and remaining speakers...for me i cut the front speaker wires and now my rear speakers are back on again..this also tells me i have to pull the doors apart and fix up the speakers in the door..
