trouble code PO412 help!
Just bought a 2001 malibu & it just gave me the engine light with this code.PO412. My scanner says"secondary air injection system switching valve "A" circuit malfunction". Of course it runs just fine. Does anyone know where this valve or solenoid is located? My Chilton's had no info. Also, I found a 2 wire connector by the MAP sensor that is not connected . It has a pink wire & a pink with black stripe wire. It's about a foot long but I can't find anyplace to plug it in. I know these malibus have various service connectors used at the 'shudder' dealer & this might be one of them or it might be related to the code. Thanks in advance.
