Spin Those Rims!

I live in Canada in a town of about 30 000, Toronto keeps expanding and within 10 years i swear all of southern Ontario will be one big Toronto....anyways....

I am coming home, its hot day , like 90F and humid and I am at a stop light, car comes up beside me, pristine looking TAN MAZDA 626...I mean...TAN??? old persons car please.....it stops and the rims keep spinning...that was just too much, so I pass her after the light in the other lane and I see its like a 50 year old woman....must be her son who had to have the "bling bling rims" or else he wouldnt drive such a boring car? Too funny....(they were real alloy rims and not just some crappy hubcap addons at least)

hey, are you knocking my car?

too bad my 626 is white, far from pristine, still in original condition, and in a different country.

I hate spinner rims... and I especially hate the hubcap (or as I like to call them: dubcaps) spinners.

Re: Spin Those Rims!

626 is not a old persons car. And also, who cares. I thought rims were made for cars.....as long as it is not to small or to big........

enough of my disagreements

Re: Spin Those Rims!

depends on the year. some 626's can look pretty nice. And dont diss on tan muthafucka. My T Bird was tan/gold, and that shit looked good.

I'd say if the car was regular looking, then yeah spinners is kinda off the wall, but if it had tint, maybe a chrome muffler, then yeah I think it'd be hot.

But I hate when I see like an 87 isuzu stylus with 19 inch chromies on it, and the rest of the car is beat up and rusty. Thats just stupid.

May have been the 50 yr old ladies choice of rims,
My friend told his g-ma that he was getting some rims and she was like "Oh the spinny ones! I like those,"
No thats not what kinda rims he was gettin, but his g-ma interupted him with that comment,

And yeah, Wal-mart spinners are SOOO stupid, they stick off the wheel like 4 inches and wobble, you probably get 2-3 / 4 that will actually spin

Re: Spin Those Rims!

yeah it just looked out of place is all, i mean it wasnt good looking at all, it was definitely an old persons car (not sure what year but it looked much like a buick regal or century) it would look good if it was black or dark grey or even blue or green but beige/tan?

Re: Spin Those Rims!

There's a TON of old caddys and old cutlasses (cutlasses especially) that have 20s and 22s and 24s... the car itself is just demolished, and they got those freshly polished 24s on it with 15s in the back.

Re: Spin Those Rims!

Fellow at school had an 88 Park Avenue (The ones with the corvette style opening hoods) with walmart spinners. My Buick on the otherhand has Factory Aluminum 15 inchers.

Re: Spin Those Rims!

Saw a very good looking Accord with spinners today. I love em. I have almost wrecked a couple times cuz I was distracted from the road by them.

Probably, spinners are nice and all but way overexaggerated.
