Re: Drip from Blower motor
Quote:
Is it water or coolant? Moisture or condensation is normal but it's supposed to drain to the outside. There is a drain hose in the area of the blower assembly. It may be clogged. I'd recommend removing the blower motor assembly for further inspection. ![]() Thrasher CAI, DHP v1.0 ECU, 3.25 SC pulley, CAIT GMAF, Hi-Flow CAT, u-bend delete, 160 TS,TB spacer, MSD 8.5mm wires, Autolite 104 spark plugs, Goodyear Gatorback Serp. & SC Belt, Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

There was post here some where on this before, but the same thing happen to me once.
The drain for the A/C was plugged with a rock.(funny can't win the lotto but its got to be one in a million that a rock could end up there) Its a little rubber elbow on the passenger fire wall about half way down under the hood. When I got the rock out about a quart of water came pouring out,the blower went south not long after from the corrosion caused by the water. So check the drain if you had water backed up in there follow bnaylor3400's advise and remove the blow for a cleaning and lube. You can reuse the foam seal thats in there. |
