89 sierra 350

It will not start just all of a sudden stop runnin we changed plugs wires distributor cap and rotor and it will sometimes act like it wants to start but it just wont i also pulled a plug and hooked wire up to it and touched it to the block and it had no spark i also know the tbi is bad but we sprayed ether into it and it will not fore besides changing the tbi wich i know already what could be stoppin it from gettin spark?... thanks for taking your time to help

Ignition Module, Pickup coil or ignition coil. You also want to make sure the dist shaft is not loose inside the housing. I have a 90 K1500 and recently replaced the pickup coil due to a rough idle. It made a big difference.

I know there is a way to test the ignition module but I don't have the factory service manual in front of me. If I can find that info, I will post it later.

Since you have no spark at all, it is most likely the ignition module or ignition coil.

I Have The Same Problem ..i Changed The Ignition Module The Spark Plug Wires , The Fuel Pump,distributer Cap, The Main Computer, The Igniton Coil, And I Still Have The Same Problem ..please Let Me Know If Someone Gives You An Answer That Fixes It..i Have Spent To Much Time And Money With No Results....my Truck Is A 92 Gmc Serria
