1996 Z24 Humming Sound

I'm having this problem where when i go over 30MPH i get this humming noise coming from the front of my car, I'm thinking it's either my tranny, or my wheel alignment. Any ideas on what it might be or how I can fix it please let me know.

Does it occur on a certain side when you shift the weight of the car to one side or the other? Possible hub assembly or it may even be your tires.

Actually i occurs all the time, but when i swerve to the right it stops. But as soon as i stop turning it starts again. and i'm not sure because it just started happening one day. That's why i'm thinking it could be maybe the alignment. because if it were my tires it would be gradually getting worse, and it's not.

I'm going to say its your wheel bearings.... The alignment on our cars don't change dramtically enough for it to cause your tires to have that bad of a camber.

79 bucks a piece for timkens at autozone plus about 1 hr of your own labor or around 3-400 at the dealership.

i found an add before where autozone fucked up and put a price up of 49 bucks where i got my local store to price match it...

Print this out and and take it to your local autozone store. The should price match it for you. I had no problems in doing so. Don't worry that it says for a 98 sunfire, the parts are the same for all j-body's 95-05 suspension wise and hub assemblys.

Wow, Im having the exact same problem. Mine started after the car broke down, and I had to get a tow. I think the wrecker driver pulled on the axle, and thought it messed up the cv joint. I guess its probably the hub bearing. It goes away when I turn just to the right too.
