Ok....so I was looking at seats...Bride seats are around 1k, Recaro seats can go up over 2k, then I look at the Veilside seat that's in the Fortune FD...it's a bucket, it has leather, the shell is carbon kevlar, it weighs only 10lbs, and it's 680$!!!!! WTF???

maybe because veilside isnt known that much for their seats like Recaro is? that soudns like a deal tho.

Yeah, that's the one, even though that one doesn't look like leather, but damn, it says small to medium sized people....stupid japanese seats meant to fit stupid little tiny japanese people...(no racism intended)

6' 2" 260lbs - Recaro Apex for me

Why the hell do you want FRP? any FIA homoglated Seat is gonna be safe as all hell and Carbon only saves like 5lbs... I could save that much weight by only eating half of a baby.

a friend of mine got a PAIR of S15 Silvia seats for $400, and man are they nice!! They bolt right in too. Some people have a problem with the aftermarket ones being too high. You can't wear a helmet with some of them, it hits the roof.

How much is a Recaro Apex? And would I fit in a Bride Ergo II? Im 6'4, 180lbs with a 33 waist. im sure someone would know lol

Recaro Apex is 730+Shipping. if I wanted Cheaper Sparco is about the same thing... but I have a tick that keeps me from wanting Sparco even though they're awsome seats

I doubt you would fit in any Bride without a Type-L in the name... and then it would be a close one. I sit on the bolsters for any Bride Shell

P.S. Bride is Pronounced "Brid"... I heard alot of people say "bride" this weekend and I needed to vent.

P.P.S. that Veilside isnt a racing shell... nor is it Carbon Kevlar. its really inclined so its pretty lame.

Then it's not the same one, I'll scan a page from a mag tomorrow, but what do you mean it's not a racing shell? And yeah it's inclined backwards a little, is that a bad thing? And I was rpetty sure i wouldnt fit in the Brids (:P) but i love thme so much lol!! Can I get the Apex in leather? lol I like leather...

I dunno... Im tired... Its a shell but its all pussifyed. its all lean backed and wide and and goofy looking. Basically I think that seat is weak.

uhhh... you want a racing shell in leather... that makes perfect sence...

and its still spelled Bride :P
