dam both are awesome! The maybach is way out of my price range. I was looking for the cls but couldnt find one. Not alot of cars have opening rear doors. Does the maybach rear open as well? How much were the by the way?

Re: CLS-Class and Maybach 57 w/ lowenhart rims

thanks for the positive feedback. yes the rear doors open on the maybach the maybach is 75 and the cls is about 16-22 i found both of them on ebay. i do think the cls is a great value, all doors open and the hood and trunk opens. it even has a headliner, very rare for a maisto reccomnded buy

Re: CLS-Class and Maybach 57 w/ lowenhart rims

Nice, nice. Congratulations on your new rides .

I'm waiting for the CLS by Kyosho to come out, in my opinion, it should be better than the Maisto. I didn't like the Maisto because for the CLS, the stuff that Maisto uses is a bit cheap for me and the rims are a little out of proportion compared to the real thing because if you can see in my Sig pic, the center of the rims go in deeper (if you can't see it, post and I'll post another pic) and the rims fill the wheel well a bit more. For the CLS that's a huge turn on and one of the things that I like most about the car, second to the frameless doors.

The Maybach I have on order, no show yet as well as the Limited dealer versions of the new BMW 3-series and the new BMW M5.

Re: CLS-Class and Maybach 57 w/ lowenhart rims

the rim size is in scale it measures 1 inch and on the real car the rims is 18 inches but i might get some custom rims anyway so it doesnt matter to me too much

The ML55 looks TINY compared to those cars or sedans.

Re: CLS-Class and Maybach 57 w/ lowenhart rims

ya i saw that it also has real leather and chamapne glass in it its so awesome! the ml55 isnt 1/18 scale. although the box says 1/18 its about 1/20 scale. i heard that they resized this car so it would fit in the box
