94 Sentra oil leak/water pump question

is it possible for oil to leak from a 94 sentra water pump? if so, anybody have any info on changing the water pump?

No it is not. More likely is the harmonic balancer/main pulley has eaten the front seal. It is slinging oil up and around your engine compartment.
