Lo Jack is pretty much just a tracking system that the police can use to recover your car after it's already been stolen. It doesn't really offer any security before that. I'd go for a standard security system with a starter kill. One of the best on the market is made by DEI. That's the company that makes Viper, Sidewinder and recently bought Clifford. All of those are excellent security systems that come with an on board starter kill, park light flash, impact sensor,siren and a bright blue LED that flashes when the alarm is armed. They also have the capability to do dome light supervision (dome light comes on when you unlock the car), trunk pin sensor, trunk release and a few other neat features. You can also get those with an included remote start system, though with an 05, there may be extra parts needed to get that to work. You can also get them with a 2 way responder remote that has an LCD screen on your remote and will "page" you if your car's alarm is set off. I've had an alarm/remote start on my 93 since I bought it, and no body's messed with my car at all. Most of the time, a thief will see that flashing blue or red LED and leave the car alone.
