im placing my money on a dirty throttle body. the blades inside the throttle body sometimes get gummed up with deposits and stuff and causes it to stick sometimes on the initial push of the pedel. get some throttle body cleaner and a toothbrush( preferably not the one you are currently using to brush your teeth). spray the cleaner in the throttle body and use the toothbrush to scrub every surface inside the throttle body you can reach.. this should solve all your problem.

richram - I had the same problem and posted my solution on this site back in August 2004... I'm in the middle of another issue right now, but if you search AF by my name you should find it.. it's a simple grubscrew fix and my throttle is still like new.
