Hi everyone.
I'm a new user and find this forum very helpful. Here is my problem: my 96 hatchback civic has 130,000 km and I never had any problem with it until 2 weeks ago. When I start the car and the engine is cold, everything go just fine. But when I drive it and push on the gaz pedal, the engine choke up and would probably stop if I wouldn't remove my foot on the gaz pedal. After few seconds, everything go back to normal. Of course if I let the car warm up, it is just ok. It never did this before and I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what might that be??? Thanks to all. |

Ever check the antifreeze? And it shouldn't be too big of a problem just warm it up before you drive.

I finally solved my problem by changing plugs + wires, distributor + rotor, PCV valve, air and gas filters.
No idea which one was the faulty but it is going great now. Bye. |
