Question 2.8 to 3100 engine swap

Im looking into swapping out my 2.8 for a 3100 but im unsure as to what I need. I know That the engine mounts up but what about the tranny. Also I would also like to know if I need to do any custom work.

Car Info:
2.8 V6 MPFI
Automatic Tranny
89' Beretta GTU
Engine that I want Installed:
3100 3.11 V6

well i own a 3100 grand am and as for the 2.8 i would guarantee the mounts to line up but as for the tranny i have a 4260 E or something along that line tranny..

You will need the ECM all the wiring hardware.. and im sure after that would be pretty easy
