Lanzar Amps

ok here is my problem...sorta...

i got 2 pioneers which handles 250 watt RMS each (4ohm). i can't find any 2 channel or monoblock amp that is strong enough to power them (at least 200 watt RMS per channel) while still costing less than $120. not until i found the Lanzar Vibe 415. i found one for $120 shipped. it's a 4 channel amp. if i bridge the 2 channel...it will be 300x2 @4ohm.

the problem is people saying the Vibe series don't put out as much power as they are rated at. but the one i'm getting is the Vibrant series. they are SUPPOSE to be better than the original Vibe are they good? do they put out the power they are rated at? or at least close to it? i know sparq use to have the Vibe 435 which is the same series as the one i'm getting. maybe you can fill me in with your opinions.

Re: Lanzar Amps

I used to run the Vibe435 -- which is a 4 channel, 1600 watt amp... I had it hooked upto 4 Audiobahn 12's all @ 2 ohms each, so the amp was pushing 1200 rms / 1600 peak... dont put out their rated power? I dare anyone to say that when the system hit and my windsheild would start to bow! Lanzar makes some good shit, and thats a good deal on the amp if its new... make sure you get a warranty on it!

i had a 1200d vibe, and it sucked, it was to give out 1200 watts and it felt more like 300.... plus the amp didn't reach any lows...
now my friend had the same amp but his POUNDED...
just remember to get the warranty!!

the amp is new. from people's review, the Vibe sucks, but i haven't heard anything or the vibrant. it looks cool i'm thinking of getting it, unless i find something even better.

if i ran it 300x2@4ohm, u think it will drain my stock battery quick? i don't have money for a new alternator nor a cap. it's not worth buying when you don't have the money. maybe if i turn the gain down it'll help

will a 20' 4 gauge wire we sufficient enough? or should i opt for the 0 gauge?

i have a lanzar vibe 1200D and i love it.. i hear the viberant series is cheap and sucky.. a good rule of thumb is to stay away with amps with plexiglass in them..

eh....i'm thinking of the 2 channel Vibe 235 now... i wanna bridge the two channels together to power my subs. i have 2 pioneer (4ohm SVC). if i wire them into parallel, that would be a 2ohm load. correct? so i wanna create a 2ohm when bridging. is this safe? i don't know if the lanzar can handle the abuse. i don't know that many amps that can do that except amps like orion, autotek, etc.... this blows...

Ok -- well I edited my post but I guess it didnt show up.

My little Jensen XA2250 ran 2 ohms bridged, it ran fine except on hot days... where if I ran it for an hour or two it would cut off for awhile. So I would imagine the Lanzar would be able to do it.

u think i should get the Vibe or the Vibrant? the Vibe is a little cheaper, but the vibrant is suppose to be better.

Personally?

I wouldnt go with either... I would spend another like $20 and pickup the plain looking, but better amp the Lanzar Rackmount RK9002C -- puts out 225 x 2 @ 4 ohms RMS... so no worries about frying it @ 2 ohms mono...

one really nice thing about my 1200D is that its a D class amp so its super efficient and stays cool all the time.. it's never really felt all that warm to me.
