Vehicle worth?
I am looking at a 90 Wrangler for the wife. Has the 4.0, manuel tranny. engine runs well at 183K, typical valve cover leak, has a new clutch, slave cylinder, carb, and U-joints. Needs entire exhuast system, engine mounts, tires are miss matched ( 205/75 frnt, 235/75 rear) , Has a new top, still in box. Interior is fair, stereo and speakers need replaced. Was told would sell for 3K. I thinks its a little high, but wanted to get other opinions. Oh body is in fair condition, little rust( door hinges)

Re: Vehicle worth?
I'd offer him the 3K - but minus the cost of exhaust, engine mounts, and matching the tires (please tell me he didn't run it in 4wd with different size tires!).
So I'd offer maybe 2200 and let him work me up to about 24-2500 at the most.

Re: Vehicle worth?
I too hope that he never ran it in 4 with the differant tires! One thing that concerns me, for the last 3-4 months I have noticed this jeep sitting with no tags or inspection sticker, yet, he claims to have done all this work to it, and he supposedly got the parts through Quadratech. Thanks for the input, I'll let you know what happens.

Re: Vehicle worth?
Heh....who knows if he did "all the work".... might pay to take a look at all the things he said he did, and see if there's receipts.
