Question 97 ? trans problem or fuel

2 questions please,
1) when I reach 46 - 50 mph my van has a pulling and tugging feeling until I go slightly over 50mph, any idea what it is?

2) I have a back light out, we tried replacing the bulb, that wasn't it. We tried replacing the socket, that wasn't it. It is the lower of the two sections on the back light. When you press the break, the light will come on but when you just have the head lights on only the top bulb will work. Let me explain it this way. Think of a stop light bulb diagram, a.) red and yellow are suppose to light up at the same time when head lights are on, b.) then without headlights on, when you are suppose to stop only the yellow should come on. Well in situation a) only the red comes on no yellow as it should, in situation b) yellow does come on. Samebulb just doesn't work for both situation. sorry this is the only way it made since to me on how to explain it.

Renna,
My van was shaking in between 35-45 mph and wouldn't stop until we reached about 55mph too. It felt like we were running over those grates they put on the side of highway to wake you if you go off. I was told the first thing to do was make sure my tires were balanced, which they were then, next was told to change the transmission oil and filter, and only use the ones from the dodge place that was suppose to be used. Last thing on our list before we'd just give up and buy another car. Well hubby changed the filter and fluid and no more shaking!! Praise God it worked. I really didn't think it would be that but it was! So maybe give it a try before you go spend a lot of money or have a nervous breakdown!Hope this helps. No advice about the lights, sorry but I am only a woman! This site has helped me a lot with my van. It gets the hubby out there trying different things, mostly just to prove me wrong but whatever reasons, it works! Good luck
