My 3 Projects

I have to get 3 models done in about 1.5 months.(I want them done by May 24). Therefore, I won't be posting much. That goal is probably unrealistic, but I have to have some motivation. They don't have to be done by then, it just gets more difficult after that date. Here is a picture of them sitting on their stands awaiting putty, primer or both. I'm picking up individual boxes for each of them today.

They are (from left to right):

Tamiya BMW Z3 Roadster
Fujimi Honda Integra Type R
Fujimi Fairlady Z

I'll post a little later about what I'm doing for each.

In general, the BMW is going to be the most box stock with only some minor modifications to suspension for lowering. The ITR is next when it comes to mods. I'm going to add 5 gauges to the interior, some different mirrors, and cutting out the vent in the front. The Z is the most comlex. I've started on it, but I have to make the wheel arch flares, and have to make the front air dam. All of the kits will have custom rims.

Like I said, I prolly won't be updating this thread much unless I have questions or you guys want to see my progress. Or if I do something cool (yesterday I built 2 intercoolers, 1 for the ITR and the other for the Z).

Awesome! I want to build some intercoolers. How'd you do it and what'd you use? (numbers of styrene sheets would be VERY helpful)

It's the 27th today. I missed my target date, but since they're all gifts and unexpected ones at that I've got a two month extension. I do have a significant amount done, but I don't really want to post pic right now. :silly2: They've sorta gotten stalled with all the end of year stuff and graduation tomorrow. Whew. After that I should be able to start 'em up again. Sorry for the long no post, no pic period.
