similar... yes, same... no

the closest thing the
86-89 integra motors is the brown top zc

the integra motors correct me if im wrong put out under 110 hp

the black top zc's put out 130hp

The integra motor will bolt directly up, i dont even think you have to swap some wires on the distributor.

hope this helps,

-Wes

Wrong,Wrong!!

The 86-89 Integra motor puts out 118 HP

The 86-89 Integra motor is NOT a ZC motor, its a D16a1.

The 86-89 Integra D16a1 will NOT bolt into a 88-91 Civic/CRX. The mounts don't even come close and the 88-91 trannys will not bolt to the D16a1 block.

The 86-87 D16a1 will fit in a 85-87 Civic/CRX that has a MPFI motor(Si)

Re: Zc Motor ?'s

the a1 will not bolt up to the 2nd gen crx but it will bolt up to the 1st gen crx. so if you did the swapand it bolted right up than you either swapped an a1 into a 1st gen or swapped a zc from a 2nd gen teg into a 2nd gen crx
