cf hood

yo i found a cf hood on asylumms.com . i might blow my tax return on it, not sure yet but when you get them do you still use the factory hinges and latch? or do you have to drill holes for pins.....

You keep the same latches that the hood hooks on to but if i were you i would deff get hood pins. The hood is very light and u need to drill holes in the hood for thoes pins... by the way nice car bro. atleast it's not rice like some of them in here... :licker:

NO he doesn't need hood pins period. I wouldn't like to drill on a CF hood cause i heard that it can be ruined like how rust spread on metal.

Don't buy from asylumms on-line. I've heard nothing but bad things about them dealing on-line, but I hear the real store is pretty good.

yeah...there's plenty of places to order cf hoods from...dont waste your time w/ asylumms.... this is the hood I'd get... heard nothing but good things .. http://www.bodykitsnw.com/

it also depends on what hood you are getting, because some require that you use hood pins, and others are made to fit exactly like your stock hood with the latch. Personally, if I got one, I'd get the fiber images, they seem like the best quality. I wanna get the SiR style hood that fits the US body.
