Question trouble with a 16g turbo

i had a 16g turbo installed on my TSi and the original vacume tubes going to the turbo and to the stock intake bracket when hooked up like the stock turbo created insane amount of boost right away and ended up blowing vaccume lines off the engine. So the mechanic drilled into my stock intercooler pipe and t'ed off one of the lines can someone please help me fix this problem cuz now with a new 16g turbo my car is slower than ever i hope this can easily be renderd. it also seems like it only has horse power between 3000 and 4800 im lost and pissed off
HELP MEEEEEEEEEE

Re: trouble with a 16g turbo

i dont understand a word you are saying. You installed a 16g and no boost controller, blew off a pipe, and took it to a mechanic that obviously knows nothing about turbo cars? Now you have the wastegate actuator hooked up to some random place in the IC piping? Fire your mechanic, get a boost controller, and hook it up to the intake manifold again (jake will say turbo). Fix the intercooler pipe hole, and make sure you aren't running enough boost (boost gauge?) to lean out and blow the motor. What mods do you have? If none, why is there a 16g on it?

Re: trouble with a 16g turbo

Just a hint of advice, dont buy parts then ask questions later. Do the opposite of that

Re: trouble with a 16g turbo

If you can't hook up a boost gauge, please don't attempt to rig parts that aren't made for our cars. Start at the beginning again, and keep that 16g on stock boost until you have a logger.
