Question modification of a 2005 civic lx

hey would anyone here know any, if not all the possible mods i can add into the 2005 civic lx and how much hp it would generate? because ive been looking for a turbo for a 2005 civic lx buh im not good with hondas but my friend has a 2005 civic lx and we tryin 2 boost it up thanks

I dont know if anyone makes a turbo kit for the lx motor, not that I know of. Best bet if you cant find a kit is go to piece together a custom kit. You will probably end up saving a little cash too. Best bet would be to check out something like www.howstuffworks.com and see how it works, do a lot of research then slap a turbo on the car and hope nothing blows up! Good luck.

haha thanks man you think there are any other mods other than a turbo? cause it mite be a lil risky lolz i guess for now an intake and a catback and intercooler is all good.. damnit i want a forced induction engine yo.. its soo much easier for nissans lolz aiite thanks for ur quick reply

LX headers..not much choice the best performing ones ( minimal gains of course almost non) will be the kamikaze race header. Intake AEM short ram. My best advice I can give you is you can also convert your exhaust system to EX specs by swapping in an EX header, sway bar, bushings, cat, and exhaust system. this give you more options on parts becuase the lx/dx are very limited in those categories. Then you can think about turbos for an Ex even swapping the head.

you could also do a mini me swap which means you could put the ex head on the lx block since it is still in the same family. But in order to get the vtec to work you will have to have an ex ecu, ignition, modified wiring harnes and drill and tap the holes for the oil to activate the vtec.
