996 cabriolet hood fault !!!!!HELP!!!!
Can anybody help?, my 1998 996 cab roof wont operate, the light on the dash flashes 4 times when the switch is pressed but nothing happens. Left it standing for 4 weeks and now has developed this fault, can anybody tell me what this flash code means and what the problem is? any info GREATLY appreiceated. Thanks steve

Hello,
I've a similar problem in my 2000 Carrera 4 Cab. The problem was in the handbrake's electrical switch-Sensor. you may aware first that your problem is the same - if you pull handbrake on, the lamp "PARK" don't light up on your panel. So, when you fix the problem in your handbrake's electrical switch, your cabriolet's hood will be OKay!
