1jz engine problem

First off i had this 1jz-gte engine for 8 months without any real problems except some minor electicals, but nothin that i can't really fix. Two weeks ago after a watchin a movie i forgot that i left my lights on so i jumped the car but on the way back home the clutch feels really sluggish and sometimes normal. Later that night, the engine surges to 3,000 rpm at idle and when i turn it off and on it still goes for about 2,000 to 3,000 rpm constant idle. Also when i step on the clutch to shift the engine dies. So i had a transmission rebuilt and try it again but im experiencing the same thing. Could anyone who have experience in 1jz motor or any similar engine problems give me any tips or advice on why this is happening and how i can fix it? Thanx!
