black metal piece guarding the exhaust?
hey guys, i was wondering what that black metal piece is. the piece that blocks the view of the exhaust if u r looking at it from the rear at a bumper height. it seemed to block the view of the exhaust from showing. is it an exhaust guarder or something. i have seen some people removing that piece to show their exhaust, and i was just wondering how do we remove it. i looked at it, and it seemed to be connected to the frame of the car. do i have to cut it out, or is there a simpler way to remove it. is it safe not having that piece on anymore? any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

i bent mine up so that u cant see it but u can cut it out and shave off the cut parts. it does not bolt out it is connected to the frame.

I cut mine out on Jekyl. Hyde's may be going away soon as well
