Exclamation 2002 EGR valve

I just had a read out code for EGR on my 2002. Lots of running problems. Where is the valve and has anyone else experienced problems with it. Mine hestitated way bad, shifted terrible, and is acting like a dog. HELP??

I haven't had any problems with my 04 LS so far, except for the cd player going out on me. I believe the EGR is gonna be near the intake manifold, prolly right on top of it.

had mine replaced

My catalyic converter and egr valve were bad I replaced both my acceleration was eztremely bad before replacing

The EGR is on the back on the upper intake next to the trottle body! Driver side. It will have plumbing going to the rear mani where the cross over connect to the DP
