jimmy radiator replacment

the cooling lines where connected to radiator have a wire clip on them does that have to be removed before tying to loosen them.
what are the wire clips for?

They hold the hose to the radiator inlet/outlets. You can replace them with regular screw down hose clamps when you put the new radiator in.
