90 Lumina tachometer wire?

My Lumina doesn't have a tach and I've been looking for a small one to mount on the dash, but where is the wire to splice into? I know Euro models have one please help!

I believe its a white one somewhere around the ignition module/coil packs. I'm assuming its a 3.1 V6. I'm not sure however. Just go to Autozone and pick up a hayes repair manual. That should help out.

Yeah I did that and they looked it up for me, you're correct it is a white wire near the coil pack, but after looking for hours I still could'nt find it.
I need the specific location, or directions to find it.

there are three wiring harnesses on your ignition module. One of them has a plain white wire. that's your tach lead.

follow the plug wires to the 3 coil packs. 2 plug wires will run to each coil pack, and the 3 coil packs are bolted to the ignition module.
