turbo upgrade

Does anybody know what kind of modifications I have to make if I install a t4 turbo in my car. I already know I need a bigger fuel pump, gauges, fuel injectors. I know that the headers are different. I need to know if the 02 housing will fit on the t4 turbo. I also need to know if the size of the turbo is going to be a problem with the space I have to work with.

A full T4 is only used over 600whp, so I take it that you mean a t4 compressor with t3 turbine... t3/t4. They range in size and horsepower up to 600whp at least, so depending on which size, you'll need more mods accordingly. The t3 turbine housing requires a specific exhaust manifold (we dont have headers) like you said, but there are plenty of hybrid t3/t4s that bolt to stock manifolds. Until you get to a huge compressor housing, the turbo itself will not be too big. You should figure out your budget and goals, see if they are realistic, and go with what people recommend for parts. I have no idea what car you have or how fast you want it to be, so I can't recommend anything.

Well to run that T4 you would need:

Fully built engine
3in turboback exhaust
massive front mount intercooler
BOV
Exhaust manifold
New o2 housing
Big injectors (880's?)
255lph hp fuel pump
FPR
DSMlink
Hours of dyno tuning
and a giant wallet.

Heres what you need for a less...err severe turbo upgrade

EVO III 16g turbo
Fuel pump, 190lph, or 255 w/ FPR
Injectors, 650s for anythign over 300whp on west coast gas
BOV
Turboback exhaust
Boost controller.
MOST IMPORTANT ITEM-----> boost gauge
Intake, K&N F.I.P.K
Intercooler upgrade, sidemount or frontmount is optional but reccomended.
Get some colder plugs, NGK 7's I think would do the trick.
Clutch kit for anything over 300 hp.
Fuel tuning or have it on the way asap.

This setup acn cost anywhere from 1300-3k depending on the parts you get, if they are new etc.
