lights flashing!
Last night my wife walked out to the kitchen and saw the lights flashing on her ’98 Blazer, similar to when the anti-theft alarm goes off, but without the horn blowing.
I was going to disconnect the battery, but first we played around with the remote open/close buttons, etc., opened and closed the doors, started her up, shut down, nothing seemed to work to stop it. Suddenly, after about 15 minutes, it stopped by itself. BTW, the alarm system was not on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: lights flashing!
Was the remote in one your pockets? I've sat down and had my truck start up(remote start). Kind of funny. The system should time itself out to preserve the battery.

Re: lights flashing!
Harard switch or flasher could be on the way out.
