Clinging Noise in Rear Passenger side Tire/Shock Area

Well, I do watch the forums for tips, hints or sometimes something I might miss, but this problem has gotten me confused and frustrated, so let me lay everything out for you guys:

In the month of May I did the following things to my 1995 Grand Am SE in the following order from first to last:

Changed front brake pads >> Changed front struts >> Alignment >> 4 New tires >> Changed rear shocks

After I changed the rear shocks I noticed something. After driving for about 5-10 minutes, I started hearing a clinging sound in the rear passenger side tire/shock area sounding like something was loose back there. It wouldn't happen at first but it would gradually get more and more noisy until it hit a stopping point and would stay like that until I parked the car and left it parked for a day. I then jacked the car up, took the tire off and checked all the bolts around that area, and all of them were still tight, none had fallen off, etc.

My question is, what the heck is causing this? I have a long drive Thursday afternoon, and would like to fix this before then. Oh, and by the way the roads here aren't the best, alot of potholes, but the drivers side isn't making the same noise. Generally when going over bumps is when the noise is heard. My money is on the upper strut mount, known to wear out on Sunfires pretty fast (Under 60,000KM) so I'm guessing not much different in your case. I'll bet it sounds like as if you're muffler was hitting up from underneath? HTH

Kinda like that but the sound is really coming from the top of the wheel/strut area, and not the bottom. It doesn't take the bumps hard either, it just makes alot of noise.

Drive the car with the back seat folded down, that will tell you if its in the back of the car or under the car. Also, check the shock mount in the trunk, see if its loose, and check the shock at the mount for play, its possible for the upper mount to be worn out.
