Smile Subaru Wrx Sti

hello, just thought I'd post a chop of this sti I did recently.

-Wheels enlarged and darkened Gunmetal
-Very wide rear wheel
-Lowered
-Window tint
-CF side exhaust
-CF hood(first time trying CF and i know it can be smaller), mirrors and wing
-Mesh grill
-Shaved door handles and rear door line
-HUD display
-Side vent, small front intake and a poor looking roof scoop

Tell me what you think. Thanks.

Re: Subaru Wrx Sti

bad selections on the hood scoop... rims look good! but the back tire looks horrid... theres a white line that u need to get rid of under the front body kit from when u lowered it... huds good... ur roof is way blurry... ur mesh is ok... but little rule of thumb... if theres mesh already on a car... use that mesh... or dont use any mesh at all.. its all about looking like somone would do IRL and no one with half a mind would put 2 different types of mesh on there car
side exaust looks ok but not my liking good job 6/10

Re: Subaru Wrx Sti

thanks man, but what do you mean by bad hood scoop selections? like the cf layer on top of it? there is no body kit on the car so i dont know what white line you are talking about. i can easily go back and fix most of hte problems with it. anymore comments and critique are welcome, the more the better that way i can go back and make everything perfect.

Re: Subaru Wrx Sti

just the selection looks a little rough and angley... and all cars have bodykits the front body kit is where im talking about... just take a black painbrush 35 45 airbrushed and then color that spot in with a sample of the color from the shade...

Re: Subaru Wrx Sti

Nice attempt on a roof scoop, eh honestly it looks like you used the cloning tool to try to clone black and blue onto the top of your car, would be better to have looked for an actual roof scoop from another car, selected it and dragged it over ( matching colors up is kinda easyer than trying to use a cloning tool to create something such as a roof scoop.)

Interesting idea with the gage reflection on the winshield, but truth be told its eather way too large, or ... just the fact that gages dont point at the winshield that makes it seem funny. ( yes i know there are cars which project gages onto a reflector pad on the winshield )

there is something about the sideskirt, down at the bottom, cant quite figure out what it is but it really looks distorted ( the colors and such )

There is a few minor pixles below the front bumper ( its kind of the sandy background, all you need to do is go in on your layer that you used to drop it, disable the background and go in with eather the selector or a soft edged eraser and you can clean it up really easily. )

The rims are cool, wish i saw the stock pic to see everything you have changed. Eh, if you have any questions about anything ive said ill help ya out any way possible

Re: Subaru Wrx Sti

thanks man, the original link is above the picture. the roof scoop is actually copied from another car but it just got messed up while doing the process or something. yea the CF is too large but it was my first try at it. the mesh is actually the same mesh on the car at the bottom, i just enlarged it. oh yea the reaason why some of the things look a little weird on the car is because i airbrushed some of it. thanks for the advice
