Help w/ pressure control solenoid

Does anyone have experience with replacing the pressure control solenoid in the transmission?

I, like so many here, have a trans that shifts harshly. I have checked the codes and all clear. I believe that it may be the control solenoid not working correctly. I have a hanes manual, which shows nothing for the trans.

does any one have experience with replacing the solenoid? If it's deep in the trans or more accessible?

I THINK it's deep in the tranny because it was a day project when they did mine. They also did a valve job too.......hope this helps...
