Air bag

I have 97 accent with 2 problems and needs help.
air bag light stays on and my belt is squeeking loud when i start the car and it gets worse when i make a turn. was wondering if i should change the belt or it's somrthing else. thanks

with car off check your p/s belt for tightness.
the airbag light though will need to have the code pulled at a hyundai shop they have the only compatable scan tool for airbags if your light is on all the time that means you have a fault in the system and your airbags are not going to work if you need them. one bit of advice is car off key out of ign. do you have a bunch of crap stuffed under your seat because if you do your airbag wire might be a bad connection(high restance.) remove crap and check both sides wiggle the wires and restart if light goes out you fixed it or located it. good luck
