transmission code p0740
When I start my car on my 2001 nissan maxima gle (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISION),
My overdrive lights flashes 16 times when i start the car, I checked the obd code, and is showing as TRANSMISSION SERVICE CODE P0740 DOES ANYONE KNOWN WHAT THIS MEANS?

Fixed!
My problem has been fixed.
thank you guys for all your help After getting a diagnostic done at nissan, the problem appeared to have been a faulty solenoid. I took it to a shop that a friend recommended and had the solenoid assembly replaced (shift solenoid valve) The car now shifts much easier! Engine light gone. thank you guys for all your help
