'98 Intrigue vs GLS...

I am test driving a 1998 Intrigue. The seller tells me it's a GLS. I admit I've not done my homework but I like the size and handling of this car. The Blue Book value increases quite a bit for the GLS, there are no exterior badges, how do I know that this car is a GLS? THanks for helping me out.

I thought it did have a badge on the front fenders that said "GLS", but maybe that's only on new models.

According to my 2002 Intrigue factory manual the 5th position of the VIN will tell you:

H - Intrigue GX
S - Intrigue GL
X - Intrigue GLS
