Nice collection indeed, I would love to have some of them, how was the Audi? I am tempted to buy it but heard a lot of bad things about it.

Hi Frank, thanks, yes they all are precisely 1/24 !
I have around 350 1/43 kits (most to build) and around 90 1/24 (most to builmd too, ), my brother has around 60 1/24 kits half built half not !

Thank you Sasa!
well, this audi is probably the worst kit I've ever built !!
but with many hours and a little bit of Yoga...
that's not the best reji, that's even the worst, but this car was the most incredible Group B running and I hjad to get it among my other rally cars.

here is some cb-com products:
http://www.hobby-carmodel.com
but most simple is cb-com himself:
http://www.cbcom-rally.com
but you have to know these products are very very bad, with much imperfections and uncorrections !! (for example wheels are a block of resin with a decal to represent the brakes !! brrrrr....)
but to get a basis for the megane, he is the one.
but if you really want to build a 1/24 rally megane, take a look at www.renaissance-models.com
the best one is there !

more models to come, maybe this evening but I am not sure, I have a meeting in my pilots association to prepare the French Hill Climb Championship event in which organization we take place and in which too all pilots will run !
I don't know if I will have time after to make some other photos of our models.
but I will try !

bye
thanks for looking and for your words
Bye
Phil

Hi blubaja,
thanks for your kind words.
yes I have other blue & yellow stars cars !
but not built unfortunatly, except one 1998 Safari version (I have to make some pics of it).
I have no legacy in my 1/24 collection (cos' of 4 in my 1/43 collection!).
here is a link to a thread where you will find pics of 1/43 legacy.

Thank you.
well, Renaissance is for rally kits the best you can find !
Resin is really good quality, PE is good and fine, decals too...
really great products !

I know him (them in fact that's two persons) and sometimes have contact to give him informations or get some, one of his prototypist (correct english word ?? I mean person that create model to be mold) is a friend of mine and we are members of the same modellers club.

In fact, according to me, Renaissance is the only reliable 1/24 rally kits and transkit dealer with studio 27 (not always, often some errors on TK).

I think you would especially enjoy his BMW M3 E30, a very nice model !
his 306 maxi is quite perfect (a rally specialist as me I always find some imperfections...) and his megane maxi is beautiful !

the only bad thing I could say would be the rollcage molded in one part!
sometimes it is damaged or disformed ! but nothind really being a big problem.

but for you one problem could be the price, recent kits are around 120 euros, then I suppose around $160... plus P&P !

models normally to come soon at Renaissance:
Peugeot 405 1988 Pikes Peak hill climb
Ford RS 200 Gr. B 1986 championship
Peugeot 205 T16 1987 Pikes Peak hill climb

he had started project on Metro 6R4 but stoped it... I don't really know why, except that there was too much work and Etienne Dhont (one of the two associates) prefered working on more other smaller and quicker projects.

I know he has been selling some Moto GP transkits for a few months.

I normally should meet Renaissance next time in September or October.
If you have any request or proposal to do, I would transfer them to him with pleasure !

bye
Phil

A great collection, the Safari Lancer would be a great subject for a diorama :-)
When you see Mr Renaissance please beg him to continue on the 6R4, even the kit has to be a bit more expensive it is a car that needs to be modelled and there is noone better to do it than him

Hello !
Renaissance gave up the 6R4 as it seems, but that's Profil 24 that did it !!
you can find the preview here at domino-model in Belgium:
