Re: 1/4 mile
you might as well not ask here. I've only found new people to shoot me down

Re: 1/4 mile
why dont you just try it out and then find out yourself, im not trying to shoot you down but to get the most accurate times just do it yourself.

When people say "take it to the track and find out," they arn't being jerks. It's actually good advice. Driver has A LOT to do with it. I used to know a guy who ran faster on his stock DX than most. He ran like 16.7's or something like that on a bone stock 96-00 civic DX. He used his e-brake as a line lock (adjusted it real real tight), and had mastered using his E-brake as a line-lock when launching. He was really able to cut darn good times on that car, for what it was. Likewise, there are others who'd drive waaay slower than the car should normally.
That's an old school trick you can get away with on FWD cars. A line lock locks the non-drove wheels. ON a RWD car you have to actaully install a line lock for the front wheels, since the e-brake trick won't work, as it would lock the rear drive wheels. A lot of muscle cars install and use line locks. Anyways, Driver skill has a lot to do with it. You can have the fastest car around, and if the driver can't shift well and launch, you'll go nowhere fast.

u r gonna run mid 14's. i ran a 14.6 on my 97 LS with crower 403's, I/H/E and P30 pistons with a 55 shot. i only got one run in and im sure i could have ran a low 14 sec pass.
