coolant leak

hi i have a 1989 club wagon 5.8l v8, 15 passenger van. i've been having a slow coolant leak for a couple of weeks. i followed the leak and it is coming out of the thing that the rad fan is hooked up to. there is a small hole in the bottom of it that looks like it should have a screw in it and that is where it is leaking out of. what is this and should it be simple to fix. thanks.

This would be your water pump. Unit will need to be replaced.
