Unhappy Exhaust

Help!! When I start my 94 318I it sounds like a bad euro exhaust my first conclusion would be that the exhaust is blown..any further possible conclusions would be greatly appreciated. Along with that is there a simple way to fix the problem? Thanks for your help

u could do a pretty easy test. put your shoe over the exhaust tip (make sure its a tight seal) then the engine revs should start to go down. if they dont u got some problems with the exhaust

Re: Exhaust

i did the same thing when i suspected my exhaust was bad. i started her while she was cold, and instead put my army poncho over the exhaust. it kept running like normal. . .
