Electrical Woes

So here goes the latest saga. Service AWD light came on. Took it to dealer and was told the Transfer case module was bad. They ordered the part. Before the part even came in, all climate control functions stopped working. No indicator lights or anything, yet compressor was cycling. Next day.....wouldn't start dead battery. Charged it, started, still no climate control. Took it to dealer to have module put in and they said my battery was no good and that the Climate Control Contoller was bad. My problem is that the battery is only 3 months old and it just seems too strange that I've lost 2 modules in two weeks. I think I have a larger issue but the dealer says no. I think they just like ordering these expensive modules.

Any ideas before I spend the thousand dollars in modules?
