I am looking for a fairly inexpensive,but still performes well, cold air intake for my 93 325is. Any ideas?

If you have the money, Dinan. I also think Carbonio may have one for the E36s. Other than that, I dont know of any TRUE CAI systems offered for BMWs (non that I can find), most are still in the engine bay, with heat shields (Conforti, ECIS, AFE, etc.).

325is is quite powerful
u want more power? turbo or supercharger? thats the question turbo is better on smaller engines both are expensive and many a times, need complete engine rebuilt before the new FORCED INDUCTION (FI) is added taking into consideration that compression ratios must be decreased to 8:1 brakes and suspension upgraded bucket seats to keep u near the steering wheel chip , ECU perhaps some injectors change ( not needed ) new dials for temperature, oil pressure some switch for high / low boost ALL DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH POWER U WANT!! |
