Cool In Progress - Dodge Viper SRT10

I started this car a couple weeks ago now as a quick/fun build.

After opening the kit, I thought the hood wood look good in carbon fiber. A Google search popped up this carbon concept car.
Which was on display at SEMA show this year. I intended to paint the car silver and thought the carbon accents worked well.

I painted this car with Cobra Colors Porsche GT silver. The hood and sides were painted gunmetal metallizer as prep for the decals.

Hood in carbon

Here the hood and sides are in carbon. I sprayed all parts in Tamiya clear, and polished it.
The wheels are out of a Tamiya Skyline race car kit.

I have now added the head and tail lights, and will start the engine bay and interior.

It has been very humid and raining for weeks here in Atlanta, so I'm just waiting for a nice day to sling some paint.

Okay, wow. Viper SRT10 = . The Carbon Fiber? = . That look's so bad! I'm sorry, you put carbon fiber on a Honda or a Nissan, you do NOT put it on a Dodge Viper SRT10. I like the fact that you're trying to replicate a model after a real car, but you don't put carbon fiber on an SRT10 under ANY circumstances. I'm not saying you suck or anything, but I just don't like the idea of what you're doing to it. Just my

Why not? What rule designates what kind of car you can put CF on?

I think the Viper looks hot! The Tamiya R34 Nismo wheels would be an exact replica of the ones on the 1:1.

WTF? Do you know what carbon fiber is and why it's used?
