Replament passengar mirror
Have a 99 pontiac grand am.
I need to replace the passengar mirror. I have found one on ebay, but it doesn't ship with the bolts to attach the mirror to the door. I'm trying to look at like advance or pep boys, but don't know what you would call them. Are they just long screws or something special I need to buy. |

Re: Replament passengar mirror
In 99+ Grand Ams the bolts are built into the mirrors and the only thing you need to do is just use the same nuts. I mean i could be wrong, but thats how it was on my '01 and my friends '00.

Re: Replament passengar mirror
Just use the bolts from the original mirror, should work fine.

Re: Replament passengar mirror
Well, have ya tried a dealer? They usually carry the bolts or nuts needed, most parts stores usually don't. You could also detach the driver side and pull a nut or bolt [or both] and take that to a parts-store, and they may be able to match them up with a generic stock of bolts or nuts.

Re: Replament passengar mirror
I would just go pick up a mirror (with the bolts and nuts attached) from a local junkyard. Or www.pfyc.com has them - you might have to check to make sure they come with the bolts and nuts.
