Thumbs up I Got My Car Back Finally!!!

i picked my car up yesterday from chevrolet. got a new clutch in once again and a free one or a refund coming too. i only got on it really good one time. i stomped it through first and kinda half clutched half gassed it from 1st to 2nd and i shifted right at where the redline starts and only came off the gas half way and the rpms flew up into the redline and i hit a perfect shift into 2nd and half clutched it and when i dropped the clutch out of 2nd it was awesome, the car was THROWN forward. best shift i think ive ever had out of that car. and i had someone else in the car. i cant wait to get some races

i got beat by one rice burner out of both my camaro's, and i was in high school with my bone stock 94. i got beat by a brand new gsr integra completely built internals and just beefed completely up from the bottom up and on top of all that it was a vtec and he had a 10 psi supercharger and it was lowered with a bunch of suspension mods (it was a guy that went to my school).

anyway he had a brand new $20,000+ car with $7,000+ worth of work done to it. and from a dead stop on the interstate up to about 131 (which is where my gov'nr was) he pulled on me 1/2 a carlength. i dont mean a half a carlength in between us, i mean my front bumper was at his door handles.

in my 94 z with 125,000 miles and bone stock even a paper air filter in that bitch, that i paid $5,000 for. and i didn't even know how to drive really.

Throwing forward in your own car is fun, I do it all the time in my Monte.

He spent 7grand in mods and only pulled 1/2 a car length? That f****** amazing? Imagine what you could have done to your LT1 with 7 grand. If i was that guy at the time i would off made an offer to buy your maro off you.

Yeah man, 7 grand into your Lt and you would be nothing but a speck on the horrizon. I've been looking into LT1s resently, look for the thread i'm heading off to make right now.
