too much play
I got a 79 f150 and its all over the road everything seems tight.
but it not. when im moving i can turn the wheel about 1/4 before it responds.. |

If all steering linkage is tight, check alignment first, then look at the steering box being worn inside.

Check the rubber isolator in the steering shaft also.
