Trailer sway
I havenīt towed a tailer in years, and when I did the workers that loaded it up did a lowsy job and left most of the weight behind the tandem axles, so trailer sway was a royal pain in the knuckles (had the wheel so stiff my knuckles turned white) I will have to use a 16' again to tow my furniture (just bought a house, the loan should get approved this week) when I move, is there anything I can do as far as weight distribution to minimize the sway? I donīt have the money to buy a sway bar and the trailer is a loaner (downpayment took care of my money) Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Trailer sway
First off, you did make sure the trailer was level, that can make a big diff. You dont want the tongue to high or low. If your are using your rec. hitch remember you can just flip your stinger. Other than that, make sure you have complete control of what goes where and you should be off to a good start. Goog luck with the move, I feel for ya.

Re: Re: Trailer sway
Obviously try and get the heaviest of the items centered over the axles, let the trailer do its job not your Silvy doing it

Re: Trailer sway
They make an equalizing hitch for trailers. See if you can get one from the company that rented the trailer to you. That might help a bit and should just bolt on to the trailer.
