Automatic to manual?

I have an automatic 2k5 Corolla S, and I realllyyy want to get a manual car, but I love my Corolla. About how much do you think it would cost to convert my car to a stick?

i personally dont think the cost will be anywhere NEAR the top of your problems.... itll be the work and possible failure of the project.... i havent heard much about converting from manual to auto or vice versa, BUT i have heard one of my dads friends say it wasnt worth the worth he had to put in. but then again the car he owned was 13 years old at the time and didnt have much life after he did the conversion... but he converted from auto to manual with problems up the @$$. you will probably need to do some customizing to the console area... no doubt about it, so it all depends on if you are taking it to a shop for the conversion (if any mechanic will even take the job) or if you are doing it yourself, youll probably need some intermediate mechanic skills for the job, but then again, ivr never seen a conversion in progress. but anyways, theres my input, do with it what you must.
