peugeot 206cc

just got my new 1/18scale peugeot 206cc and its made by gate.
tuning18.com has some hot stuff for this car!!
so far i've painted the hood scoop vent things, the grill on the front bodykit, and the windshield wipers silver. I also painted all kinds of stuff on the engine.

Sorry about that pic^^

the engine^^

birds eye view
i hope to eventually add tuning18.com's body kit for the model, the supra wing, all the engine stuff like intercooler air filter etc., bbs rims, and exhaust.
it's probably going to be pretty sick. this is the first model im actually trying to make look good, all the ones before this were just practice.
if anyone has comments or discussions reply here!!

Re: peugeot 206cc

Why do you need an intercooler if you don't have a turbo or supercharger?

P.S: Neat little model... How much was it?

Re: peugeot 206cc

Oh, even though the turbo is huge, I've been recommended to buy a $15-20 Muscle Machines car, and most have huge twin turboes in them, and they look nice too...

I highly agree, that's where I get a majority of my parts, but be careful which car you buy if your looking for turbos, the ones I know for sure that have turbos to "spare" would be the NSX, 350Z, and Silvia, so, don't go for the Skyline or RSX for turbos, becuase they don't offer up turbos to share, so keep that in mind.

i was really bored of sanding the roof of my h2 suv to sut conversion so i decided to go back to the peugeot for a lil while.
i added some racing seats and a ferrari f-40 engine! yes you heard right an f-40 engine! i also took the roof out of the trunk and took the back seats out. i plan to put two nos bottles in the trunk and a rollcage!
i also need to get some rims.

i'm not too sure because i've never made one before. suggestions are open! i do have a childrens toy like this: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml02/02530.jpg
only the wire is made of metal and is a bit thiner. i was thinking of using that but i don't know.

Use styrene tubing.
Or just aluminum bars.

Re: peugeot 206cc

where can i get syrene bars from? like home depot?
i'll try to get some aluminium bars from my local hobby store.
the bars im using now are working but there are some problems:
it's extremely hard to bend
takes forever to cut
its heavy and bulky
