custom exhaust?
Anybody here ever make their own custom exhaust? Me friend told me about how he made a catback for his truck by himself from piping that he bought from an exhaust shop. He bent/welded all of it himself and it costed hime about $30. He said he could do it for me and that if I wanted he could make it so I have dual outlets coming out on the side of the car in front of the rear tires. Anybody ever done this or even really heard of it?
Im only condsidering doing this becuase as of right now, I dont have enough money to buy the exhuast I want and this will be less than $50 to make with everything. Any thoughts? |

Re: custom exhaust?
well, so long as you dont mind wrinkled piping, that would work fine. and use stainless steel pipes and hardware. personally ill stick with my mandrel bent pipes that flow higher volumes of air. to me thats worth the price of admission.

yeah it sounds like a real good especially from the cats back that is a steal! I would also get it in front of the rear tires b/c side exhaust looks really pro.
